Rise and shine has a wonderful flavor. I’m grateful to support the gospel of Jesus Christ with Coffee Crate.
Our Story
Founded on a simple truth.
Jesus is King, and every day is a gift from Him. We believe a cup of coffee can be more than a morning routine. It can be a moment that stirs hope, strengthens faith, and reminds us of God’s goodness.
How it started
Good coffee, better company.
Coffee Crate started with two loves: how good coffee can taste, and the way a cup brings people together. So much of life happens over “let’s grab a coffee.” It is the slow moment in a busy day, the start of more friendships than we can count, and the reason two people who needed to talk finally sit down. We have watched a shared bag of coffee mend fences in our own family.
Every trip we took, we hunted down the local roaster in town, and every great cup raised the bar. We wanted something even better than the best we found: certified specialty grade beans, farmers paid well above Fair Trade, and roasting handled with true care, never roasted dark to hide shortcuts. More than a coffee company, we are building a community: a safe place, real friendships, restored relationships, and an avenue for the love of God to reach people. Christ is the reason behind all of it.

What we stand for
Coffee with a higher purpose.
- Excellence in every cup.Certified specialty-grade beans, roasted fresh in small batches. We refuse to settle for average.
- Farmers treated fairly. We pay well above commodity rates and partner with growers who care for their people and their land.
- 10%+ of profits given.A 10% tithe to world missions, including an orphanage in Uganda, and more given beyond that to needs close to home.
- A community, not just customers.Coffee people, church people, neighbors, friends we have not met yet. When we open café doors of our own someday, you will already belong there.
It’s a Lovely Day.
