How fresh is Coffee Crate coffee?
As fresh as it gets: we roast to order. Your coffee is not pulled from a shelf. Once your order comes in, we roast your beans fresh in a small batch and get them out for delivery, typically within 2 to 4 days of ordering.
Each lot is tasted and evaluated against specialty-grade standards, so you taste clean, balanced flavor in every cup.
Do you sell ground coffee?
Every bag currently ships whole bean. It keeps the coffee at peak freshness until the moment you brew it.
No grinder yet? A basic burr grinder is the single best upgrade in home coffee, and until then most local coffee shops will happily grind a bag for you. Our brew guide shows the right grind for every method.
How do subscriptions work?
Choose the schedule that fits in the subscription selector before adding coffee to your cart, and every 12 oz bag drops to $17.54 instead of $19.49. A 12 oz bag makes about 20 cups, so monthly fits most one-cup-a-day drinkers.
